Here at DP, we have always maintained a very open door yet confidential policy allowing members to contact us to discuss unusual situations where reputation, legitamacy, and/or practices of major industry executives or groups were questionable.

At times, we've been able to confirm shady practices. Other times, we've probed situations but found nothing to lead us to believe ill intentions were meant. By no means are we personal investigators, but rather privy to info our members may not be. Many times, we have heard the same stories about the exact same people from different members who don't even know each other. On such occasions, we have connected those members to discuss similiar experiences and use common sense to sort out their next step.

As a support organization for producers we have and will always stand by our mission of supporting producers first and foremost through continuing education. We define continuing education as any mode that captures knowledge producers need. This means that through professional recommendations and/or the forums we vow to make sure our members know about anything that can help propel the plight of the up & coming producer. It's a tough road and we believe producers need to expose themselves as much as possible.

However, we are not blind to the fact that there are still those who misrepresent themselves to take advantage of producers. As a community, it is our job to give members a platform to discuss such situations so one of our own doesn't bare the bite of something someone else KNOWS is shady.

We have and will always keep it 100 with our members and we expect for you all to keep it 100 with each other!!!

* This thread was not created to bash anyone or any group for the sake of having something negative to say

* If you disagree with what someone states its cool to share your opinion but no need to hate on the long term

* Take the info you need or feel is important to you and leave the rest
