Thread: New Site Issues

When the new site went up my password was no longer working. I was GIVEN a new password and was told I can change it in the contact tab but now there is no contact tab on my page and I have no access to make any changes to my page.

There may be another way to do this, but this is the way that worked for me. Go down to the bottom of the screen where the users online are listed and find your name and click on it. It will take you to your profile. Then mouseover the "edit" button and click "update your profile". Then go to the "contact info" tab and you will see the place to put your new password and verify it.

i was also given anew password, even before the new site was posted up, because i wasnt able to get online with my original password, so when i told fbi about it, she gave me another password, the next day, the new site was up, and i used the same password given to me by fbi, and it worked, i wanted to go and change my password, and actually thought of what jaay said to do, before reading it, but when i do that i dont remember EXACTLY what was written ,but to make a long story short it didnt let me change my password because of some coding error or some shit like that, but i'll wait its all good

I tried to do that but im getting a message saying "this user has not confirmed his email and account", but on my membership page it tells me i still have 253 days left on my membership. any thoughts?

Thanks for the info Jaay, But I tried that and this is what I got "This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account! This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!". I don't know why I'm getting this because everything has already been confirmed with the old site. This is getting a lil frustrating, I guess I decided to join at a bad time. Only been an official member for 3 weeks now and not satisfied with the service so far. Not even the staff are able to assist me on fixing this issue...

No information is being stored for "view with profile".

One of the problems that came up for me today is when I posted my replies on forum posts, an error page comes up n doesn't redirect u back to the page, nor sho or confirm your post on the thread. It does post tho... u have to go back to the previous page u were on n go back to the topic n you'll see it.

The other thing I've noticed is that the time (my time anyway) that I post things are completely incorrect. It may say I posted this up at 3 somn', but it's 1:09pm right now. I tried both those east coast time zones (US & Canada n Atlantic) n neither one of them are correct. Usually for the east it's minus five o'clock (couldn't use the numbers cause the smiley face comes up when I use colon n zero together).

<p>When u quote someone's post on a thread... it still shows the codin' instead of a quote.&nbsp; Don't kno if you're workin' on that or wha.</p>
<p>Someone had made mention that u should be lockin' the threads on the posts so that we can't post anything in the actual opp that u guys post, like how it was on the last site.&nbsp; I agree.&nbsp; U all should be the only ones postin' in the opps.&nbsp; We can add whatever we want in that whole section n talk amongst ourselves, but there shouldn't be any one else postin' in that section besides the DP execs.</p>
<p>We use to be able to end threads.&nbsp; I tried to end one n I don't see anything to close it off.&nbsp; I kno it use to be in post tools, but there's only two options there that don't deal wit it.</p>
<p>The New Poll n New Thread buttons on the top of the threads don't work right.&nbsp; The ones on the bottom do.</p>

<p>Never went to the old site but if this is the new site than im really SCREWED! Nothing works. This isn't even a functional site, its just a huge forum.
