Thread: Need help with reason recycle

<p>Ok.....so..... how do i get the rex file to be chopped up into say.....8 parts.....i set the chop points...but when i save the rex file....it loads as 1 slice????</p>

<p>after you slice it, or before, you gotta set the tempo, and u do that by writing how many bars your loop contains, and it does the tempo automatically. after that, if u look where the rewind/play/stop/etc. are, u will see a play button on the left, only inside a circle. this is called the preview button. as soon as u press that, it turns on the envolope, EQ, and shaper. u set those, or dont if u dont need to, and make sure your slices are cut the way u want them, and then go to file; save as, and choose to save it as a .rex2 file. and load it into reason and it should work. if it dont, then explain your problem in&nbsp;a little more detail and i'll let you know what to do. <p>o yea i forgot to mention that around where the play buttons are, there's also a button that says "save as one sample" make sure that is not turned on, that might be why it loads as one sample instead of slices</p>
