Thread: PROTOOLS FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

My protools keep freezing at the load screen, has anyone experienced this problem. I just added more ram to my system from 2 to 4, do you think this could be the problem, let me know.:crying: And Im on an windows operating system.

Which Pro Tools and which version of Windows?

PT 7.4 and window XP.

Yo, was it a RAM problem? I just started working more plug-ins on my setup and notice my SW becoming more sluggish. Did the RAM help? Right now I only have 1 Meg...

actually the ram I think didn't help, because before I installed more ram, I never had that problem, so I think its a calibration thing, like after you install more ram on your computer you have to calibrate it. But in theory, the more ram the better.
