I was looking for some effects and found out I have waves tune in the mercury bundle. I have both of these programs but have never really use them. And I wanted to know is one better then the other or are the both just doing the same thing?

    They both have similarities.

I find Antares Auto Tune to be really easy to use...but waves tune seems to be way more customizable.

    More options = Waves Tune
Ease of Use, more automized = Antares Auto Tune

You also should look into Melodyne. I had a way better experience with it (Uno/cre8) than the other two you mentioned...
