When I mix and master my beats I can get them to great level so when I play the waves everything kicking like it should. But when I turn them into MP3's and put them on PMPworldwide.com (awesome site I Definitely recommend it) I cant get my beats to be as loud and powerful as the Professionals on the site. If anyone has some advice on improving my Mp3' let me know.

Is this only an issue when you turn a wav file to an mp3, or is this a problem either way. If the wav sounds fine, and the mp3 is lower in quality, you may want to try another converter to do that job.

If the issue is there regardless of the file type, I recommend the Izotope Ozone Intelligent Maximizer. It does a good job taking up the overall level of the track (just don't overdo it). you want to get the mix as close as possible, and use izotope on the mastering bus after you've mixed it and what not.

i agree with the Izotope Ozone Maximizer....be aware that mastering/mixing for high compression internet streaming is a different technique. Go for accentuated highs and exagerated width to get good playback on pmp

True, 128 kbps has been the standard for mp3 encoding, 320 kbps has a higher quality, but VBR variable bitrate encoding has the highest quality it is the best mp3 encoding format for stereo music over the internet.
