Thread: DP Live - Member Networking Event

We're having a FREE MEMBER NETWORKING Live Event on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 10 PM Eastern Time.

This event will be a discussion with a Dynamic Songwriter giving tips & advice for producers when submitting tracks to songwriters, etc...

We'll likely do a quick vibe session too where we'll play tracks and see how the writer vibes on the spot

Logitech Quick cams, the pro 9000 is a great cam...Thanks again felisha! i'll be there with some...you guessed it...Dragon Fire...lol....BTW...I too am a songwriter/producer...and most of the time i track all of my vox...is it ok to present full songs uptempos, mid vibes and ballads? Quincy...

I was online at tigerdirect.com last night lookin at the logitech cams coincidentally. I live like 5 minutes from a tiger direct, so i'll prolly go cop one tonight.

it was 2 and change last I checked a couple weeks back. It might be close to three now from Raleigh

yea i was looking at 200 to 300 the only problem im having is the rental car you got to be 25 without a charge thats killing me

yeah, I feel you. A lot of us are havin the same issue. I'm 24........so i'm annoyingly under the limit. How much they talkin about tacking on for you being underage?

they said they will let you rent if you 21-24 but you have to pay 25$ ex a day so if you get a car keep the car for two days 50 $ plus how much you paying foe the car

See I knew it was extra, but I didn't know how much. Do they charge by the mile? Or is it unlimited miles?

Yeah it is about that price. Me and my boy went down to L.A. a couple of weeks ago and they tack on about that much. We split it, so it wasn't a big deal.
One thing that definitely helps is getting a AAA card. It's like 30 dollars a year, but you get tons of discounts at rental places and hotels, just for having it.
Trust me, in this economy its all about the discounts.

no miles just just have to pay the fee and the car fee thats it we mite have to tag team on sumstuff lol

Hey, yesterday at the beginning thing were running smooth and then as the night went on it was slow. I mean, i would type and it would take time to show the characters I typed in. And we were only 35 at that time, what is it going to be when we will be 100 people?

Actually I do have one built-in my monitor, but i'm at work lol

Oh and I wanted to do that in a long time, is it possible to change my nickname from DaRStar to Da R Star? Because at first I expected that "spaces" wouldn't be allower that's why I put it all together.
