I found these video's and all I can say is that their very deep and very informative so I wanted to pass this along to the DP Fam.

Internal Mixing Tutorials In Quicktime Format

The Internal Mixing DVD-ROM tutorial series is an essential resource for disk recording application users who do their mixing mainly inside their workstation. Providing hands-on strategies for using computers to make powerful, clear and perfectly balanced mixes, Internal Mixing supports you in creating them without using expensive outboard equipment.
With more than 160 minutes of video in Volume I and over 180 minutes of video on Volume II, Internal Mixing covers tried and tested methods for achieving that often elusive sound known from professionally produced CDs and DVDs. Covering a huge range of issues surrounding mixes, Internal Mixing offers valuable insights into topics such as native and DSP-based plug-ins, the concepts behind positioning instruments and voices within a three dimensional sound field, frequency spaces, optimized mixing workflow and much, much more.

Yo, how do you open these? I get an error stating that there was an unexpected end of archive and basically giving me nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

It took some time to DL all the files
when i tried to unzip /open each file
it asked for a disk! i was like what?
But after DL the final file it opened/unzipped
itself.then I retried to open all the others pt1 pt2 etc
then it worked! I played tutorials
they are geared for Cubase, Nuendo
but the principles can be applied to whatever your mixing, mastering with.

Did you use the password, And if so the folder with all of the quick time videos is called Assets. And there are two ways to watch the videos one by using just quick time or by using Macromedia Projector that comes with it.

It looks like the downloads are split...but in order to open it, you gotta cop them all first, and then when you open it, the install should grab pieces from every file you downloaded, to give you the whole thing...

tha macromedia joint ain't work for me....maybe cuz its on a pc...when i use the macromedia joint it asks for a file that ain't there (which it is just its for i1-KO-intro-D or something like that..but u have the same file just its with a E). But in the title bar its ask'in for something on a Mac HD.So maybe its a pc/mac thing...so i had to watch each joint individually...still informative...especially to noobs or ppl not to familiar with what it is they do when they mix (like me lol)

That's deep I really don't know anything about Macs. But I do know if you only use quick time it takes alot longer to watch the videos because there broken down in to smaller parts.

Another interesting thing is the first 6 or so QT files i renamed to the file it was looking for...used the macromedia and did something crazy. U know when u win at solitaire on a pc and the cards kinda do that spreading out thing-like it fans out all 13 cards of suit...well it did that...and when i would close out one of the windows that popped up it would play like a 1 sec snippet of the file...also which i think is funny is when i changed it to the file it was look'in for...it would look for another file...my think'in was/is E is for english, D for deutch, F for french or however many languages they have it in and when u click on the macromedia its look'in for all the files...anyway lol i'll just do it the long way-good look on the post tho

Yeah it did that to me too so I just did the long way as well. But I noticed when macromedia is fully loaded that problem went away because of all of the tab links in the screen.

I dont know anything about macs, when you click on the macromedia the first file that opens up click cancel. And wait few and all of the files will be book marks and list in chapters.

nope only the reason joint....don't even ask for files...dbl click it and after a few seconds the little reason vid joint opens with links to each chapter on the side...oh well lol...i just go'in to the mix vid cuz i'll be look'in for a long ass time look'in for something....time that could be used for something else...but with out that vid i'd still be stuck so give n take
