It's a good. I just got a early Pultec preamp (I and a few friends agree, we're still are validating) so my drums are going to sound better. I'll put them up in the future.
Thanks for supplying the sounds, really! Now, how can I attach and share some of the refills I own with DP members.

Question: Does anyone know what I need in order to use .rar files? As far as I know, I can only use .wav and .aif files since right now I'm primarily using Reason, though I'm gonna be using FL soon as well.
i think you have to extract the .rar files to get whatever contents its has in there. it's kinda like how a .zip file works.
RAR is just another way of compressing files or zipping them... go to www.win-rar.com/Originally Posted by C_Johnson
It's a free download and that will allow you to "unzip" the file and get to the contents.
Extract the files using WinRar. They're probably waves in the files and you can extract and use them in reason.
Nice site for all types of sounds and sound effects.

Hey DP. Put up most of the drum and fx sounds from a Motif ES on rapidshare. Let me know if it doesn't work. It'll be up for a short while, don't want people to come knockin... Originally went digital in to an MPC2kxl, you have to normalize yourself cause the mpc didn't have that feature. Thanks to everyone who posts stuff, it brings people like me out of the dark ages. Sounds organized into folders, bd bass drum, sn snare, pc percussion, hh hihat, cy cymbal, etc. PGM files are mpc2000xl program files, ignore if you don't need em.

My old 808 sampled into an MV-8000, multiple samples of the same sound with pot knob nuances to capture the analogue feel in your programming. I've found other kits with slightly better kits, but this is real, and captures all the idiosyncracies of one TR 808. Just another tool for your contruction kits.

Almost every drum sound from a Yamaha Motif ES, and some effect wavs, in WAV format and organized by sound type into different folders. Just import them across your sampler's keyboard. These were recorded into the digital I/O of an MPC 2000xl, and HAVE NOT been normalized, so you have to do that yourself

All sounds from a Zoom SB-246 Streetbox, with sounds by the Beat Kangz. Some samples were done an extra time "hot" into the MPC's converters, so they're more raw and loud. But the original should be right before it so you can still do what you want with it. Generally the sounds are organized by sound type, but in this case because of the way the Zoom 246 was organized it's not perfectly categorized. It's manageable.

These links are good for one year until Apr 29 2008.
Feel free to post if there are any problems or comments.
This zip file has 7 kits made on a MPC so it also comes w/PGMs for all u MPC users. There are 2 808 kits, 2 Triton Kits (1 from the standard & 1 from the Extreme), 2 kits of drums sampled from records, and a Fantom kit.

All 24 bit, and all phat analog goodness!
The Tape808
Not another 808 sample! Well actually it isn't... this is 407 samples taken from two 808's recorded into an Ampex 351 1/2" valve 2 track tape machine! That's not all... We also put the 808's through other vintage gear. Plus we recorded the 808's naked into a Metric Halo ULN-2 firewire audio card. Then we chose the best samples.
All 24 bit, and all phat analog goodness!
If you can't get a hold of a real 808 then this is as close as you can get in samples... Maybe even better than the having the real thing!
Computer Music Magazine has awarded the Tape808 10/10 !

I have this set. This is one of many outstanding sets from Goldbaby Productions. I can vouch for the quality, although as you guys know I would prefer that you support the seller. Also if you like these, don't miss out on the MPC 60 vol 2 set. Got that classic MPC crispness and lo fi crunch. anyway for those of you with conscience, check at the real site and cough up the $15.00 bucks.
