Yes you do... each download is a zip/rar fragment of the entire installation DVD (4 gigs)... After you have downloaded everything then you simply extract the files which will make a single iso image. From there you can mount the image using daemon tools and install or just burn the image to DVD.

V-Vocal is INCREDIBLE - here's some shit I JUST did with it, Ableton Live, Hypersonic, and Sonik Synth - TrakHeads good lookin out on this (and yes, all synth lines and bass lines are taken from V-Vocal and then run through VST's, with some tweaking of some notes to flip it a little)

Just listened to it and would like to know in detail how you used V-Vocal to make this track? I've only used it on vocals... If you don't mind, can you explain your process?

So basically what I did is I took an old soul sample, loaded it into adobe audition (I could have done this in Sonar but I'm faster in Adobe) and isolated a 4 bar loop I wanted to sample. I ran a basic low pass filter on it just to get rid of the bass line, in retrospect I could have probably gotten better results by using eq to try to isolate the vocals. anyway, I loaded it in to sonar. Right clicked on the audio clip in sonar and turned it into a V-Vocal clip. Then when V-Vocal loads up, there's an icon on the left hand side that says "Pitch to Midi" - I clicked on that and dragged the mouse back to the main sonar window and it dropped a midi clip into the sequencer. I then dragged it out onto my desktop, then dragged that into Ableton and loaded it into a VST (Hypersonic 2). I then created a custom instrument (some strings, some synth, some organ i believe) and hit play. I had to tweak with some of the notes a little bit but by and large it worked very well.

Its not PERFECT if you're not using just vocals, but its an excellent way to spark ideas if you're ever stuck, and I'm confident that with careful eq'ing you could easily isolate certain sounds better if you wanted to. What this also opens up is the possibility of humming in a melody if you wanted to, then using V-Vocal to turn that to midi and boom - you can hear that melody in any number of VST instruments. I realize I could *play* the melody out but this cuts out the guessing. I wouldn't say its 100% perfect with detecting pitch, but that could just be my lack of an ability to sing lol. If you're the type of person who has ideas in their head but has a problem expressing them - this might help you out a lot.

quick questions for those have it. have you played wth the vsti that it comes with called drop zone. my ideal sampler would enable me to record a sample into the daw, dragg it into the sampler to trigger, pitch, trim, ect....like an mpc. i was wondering if anyone had any success with this feature?

I'm 99% sure you can do it... I just haven't really played with it yet... My main beat making program is FL Studio 7 so I can already do that with no problem.
