    I have an MBOX2 with Protools LE 7, wondering what plug-ins, filters, etc. you'd all suggest for (a) mixing beats (b) mixing vocals.

    compression, eq (low end cut around 100-110), reverb (subtle), sometimes a de-esser

    these are for str8 up clean tracks

    for out there efx - just get creative & use whatever hits your eardrum
