When you click on the link for the drum kit you want to download, it will open up a new page that will re-direct you to rapidshare. If it doesn't re-direct you, then click on the rapidshare link in the window and it will take you directly to the page. Once there, scroll down and click FREE if you don't have a rapidshare account. From there, scroll down till you see some funky letters and numbers, 4 to be exact and type them as you see them in the box and hit DOWNLOAD VIA COGENT. A grey box will pop up asking you some stuff, click save. It will ask you what folder you want it in.(I send everything to my desktop and move it around after I unzip the file.

So once its on your desktop, it will be a .rar file or .zip file. you have to unzip it as I'm sure all you guys already know and put the folder where ever you keep your drums.

Now I just downloaded the Lab Percussions kit as I was typing this and it worked fine. Yesterday I downloaded the DJ Quik kit and the west coast kit and everything was hunky dory.lol If there are any problems aside from what I covered, it might have to do with your computers settings. You may be at work and the PC might be set up to stop you from downloading.

I think my issue was that I wasn't familar with the formats in which to download the file, i.e. 'via COGENT'. There was a long list of formats and this was my first time using the site. Thanks for the insight. I will make another attempt to download the files 2morrow.

Question: I downloaded em but they are .rar files. I can unzip a zipped or compressed file but what about these audio/video type .rar files. How do we work these? I get this problem everytime I download one of these kits.

For the .rar files use WinRAR. Its just like winzip.

Damn thats a lot of samples Good looking out it took me like 4 days to download all these Now i gotta get crackin on em, anyway The Dre West Coast Gangsta Kit and the PSS Dre Xplosion Kit are the only 2 kits that cant be downloaded anymore

Anybody got these to repost up?

Yo the problem Im having is with the WinRAR program. I download the rar file to my desktop, then I open it up with the winrar program, and it does all of this extracting, then when I clik on the file, it takes me to a folder, then I click on that folder, and it goes to back to another folder, then I click on that folder and it takes me to the first folder, what am I doing wrong.
