Hello:

My name is Michael, aka eMBrawler on the Mic and the boards and Visionary at seminars and in the boardroom.

Let's all brainstorm ways to write better songs!

For me, I like to switch it up:

On certain dramatic rap songs, I may use the bridge from later on in the song as my intro, and build that AGAINST the instrumental for a more sonically emotional effect.

On the pop and rhythm and blues tip, when writing for singers, I like to write bridges and choruses that show their strengths and abilities to harmonize... and not something that will expose their lack thereof.

Songwriting is a gift; like singing: It can either deteriorate or get better with time.

The choice is yours, DP!
