At first i was about 2 turn it off but it started 2 grow on me. Its very clean too! The only thing that kinda turned me off was its too SYNTHY. It could have sounded better (In my opinion) if you added a concert grand to do stabs (2 or 4 measures) at the downbeat of the verses... to make it sound more fuller and organic... low chords would sound good! Also if u had a brittle organ layer or talkback the sci fi synth. It would complement it well. Also a string ensemble with the same concert grand would sound crazy for the post chorus or w/e that melody is 8 bars before the chorus ends.... I could see my self rolling to this shit though... getting out the car and crip walking like it was 1999/2000.
Defiantly got my vote... keep doing ya thing. This beat goes hard! Make a YouTube video, Twitter/Facebook link and send it 2 ur page 2 get more votes. The beat needs 2 get heard!

Thanks for the feedback SoundDepth. I definitely appreciate the time and suggestions you've offered. (Very knowledgable and constructive.)

I did experiment with some of the ideas you had mentioned before I had submitted the track (orchestral w/ octave piano hits to be exact) and I thought to myself... I was going more for a Gangsta Funk track that would feel "Lean & Mean" rather than an "Over-Bloated / Over Produced" track (Which I have be known to do ). My intention was for it to be more "melodic" than "Huge wall of sound".

    Basically a Funky Minimalist approach.

    Thanks for the vote Brotha!!!
