What's good DP? Here are two tracks that I am submitting for Def Jam artist Adrienne Bailon. Please give me feedback.

    On a quick listen:
Track 1 (Crush) - Didn't like the intro vocal but like the beat and hook. The only thing I think is missing is a bridge part.

Track 2 - I like this also but it sounds like the bassline is a little off on some notes (could be me just expecting a diff note) but would have to listen to it again on something better than my headphones.

B-Nard... I'm definately feelin' the first track (Crush On U). I think its definately somn' that they would be interested in. I think if u get a girl to actually sing it, n say boy rather than girl (cause it would be for her to sing), it would appeal more. Nonetheless, Curtdog hit the nail on the head. I would love to hear a bridge on this. It doesn't have to be anything crazy cause the track is laid back... its really all about the drums. But, to give it some sort of variation, that's all I would do here (n maybe just think about writin' the whole song n ref. it or just stick to singin' the chorus' n bridge n leave the blanks for the other writers to fill in). This is hot tho!
This second track... again... Curtdog wit the hammer. The bass notes do seem out of place. The "out of place" bass note thing is sometimes hard to hear in a track. It all depends on the type of track n the feel n a whole lot of other nonsense! I don't think it was bad, but it just didn't sit well wit me as somn' I could hear her singin' on. If u revisit it n fix the bass, I think it would work. Listen to Jill Scott, Dj. Jazzy Jeff or Mos Def's soulful joints. That type of bass line n groove would fit this track.
