yeah im lovin the groove to this but turn down that hi hat, the hi hat is louder than everything and its messin it up for me. the chorus to me also sounds to busy, theres a wierd sound that keeps hittin and i feel like it dont have to be ther. other than that though im lovin when that piano comes in and smoothes it out, nice work

I was digging it, like my guy said tho the high hat was a lil loud, but it was funky, i like the pianos and the synths,...keep that up tho thats whats up.

question, sort of off topic. when playing your track via fileblaze are you getting a glitch/stutter/hiccup at around the 15 second mark of a track?
i've noticed this with my shit and playing your track from fileblaze ended up doing the same thing. wondering if it's just on my end

Beatfellaz...yo a musical dude...the synths give me that retro 80's feel with that 808? tom roll in it...love how it dropped into the bridge and got simple and built everything back up...tight work! Since it is a R&B track, can't give it the ugly face....lol

Curtdog... track is ill! I can hear Joc on it wit Luda n Diddy doin' his "yeayeayeah yeah... bad boy... ahaa haaa" crap on it! The hook gives it that other kind of appeal to it... like its kinda south, but there's more to it!

Braniac... that's crazy! I thought about Donnie killin' it. Then I was like "Cherri Dennis!" She would do it justice!

Yeah... but Cherri might have to take it - lol! I'm just thinkin' of the types of songs they've done n the types of songs they can do that don't stem too far away from wha people are use to, but can get use to in elevation of their abilities n careers.

Culprit... this reminds me of The Cupid Shuffle. I can't really see Diddy doin' anything to this as is. I think the chord progression is nice, but to get away from the whole Cupid Shuffle thing... I think a different key would prolly serve justice. Also, maybe not goin' straight up wit the chords, but choosin' some other chords to kind of give it more of a pop feel would help. U can keep it goin' straight up, but try playin' around wit minors, diminished n augmenteds. Try some 5ths here n there to play around wit the chords I mentioned if the 7ths don't sit right in the track. I'm not mad at the drums tho. N I think the voice sample would do better in the chorus, n maybe like once or twice in the verse... give him somn' to play around wit in the verses... like "I saw her n said... OOOOOHWEE." Not all the time tho! Just some random thoughts!

This is pretty straight. I like the retro 80's feel. Think mixing this to be a shorter song playing around with the parts you have in here already would be tight. Song seems kind of long for the type of song I envision. I could see this as a 80's throwback concept song for Puff for radio with a Pop feel. I don't know if I would work for club though because of the overall feel and tempo but I could see him working this.

The mix is throwing this. The drums need to be more up front, more present...but I am listening on head phones..... Beat seems more for a R&B singer but it is not above Puffy though to try and I could imagine him with a singer doing this...with that said this could work. Fix mix....coming from someone whose mix is always jacked up....lol

Love the bassline to build on. Live bass?...Needs more production though. This could be built up into something bigger. Bass seems to sit too loud in the mix. Even if you wanted to keep this track simple...implant a strong bridge to break up the "simpleness" then bring it back down to simple...needs a little more production.

Curtdog appreciate the feedback....im definetly working on build and progression in my tracks.bass was a live bass sample...feedback well taken.

I like this joint a lot. Reminds me of Last Night by Diddy n Cool by Snoop. Very Prince soundin'. Two things
* I would think of different notes. I'm not too crazy about them, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't knock it if Diddy (or someone that could really rock this track) represented on it.
* I can tell that the track is knockin', but u might wanna re-level everything. A lot of instruments sounded heavily compressed when everything came in at the hook. U want everything to shine, not just the sounds of whatever instruments you're playin'.

I'm feelin' this! Curtdog is right about the R&B thing... definately somn' I can hear Day 26 on. Diddy could just run wit it n throw them on it or somn'. But, it really is a good soundin' R&B joint. Curtdog is also right about the drums. The instruments sound so alive n the drums sound so distant. U want the drums to hit just as hard as the instruments are comin' in. Make it bump!

I think the bass line sample has a nice groove to it. It reminds me of Diddy n Ma$e back in their run. I'm not completely mad at it. I would probably chop the bass line up tho n come up wit somn' a lil' more up-beat. But, for wha it is, I'd polish the drums a lil' n throw some chorus n reverb on the strings so it doesn't seem too dry n doesn't sound to generic. U could even throw a shaker in on the verses to break up the simplicity.
