Thanks for the responses fellas. Sounds like undisputed gets thumbs up from the DP fam!
Cinematic - remind me and I'll post the sample from the "Pray" instrumental.
Jay B -
I cant front, even though I do it from time to time - the pitched up voice made me kinda biased. You pulled it off nicely though with some interesting chops and the filtered bassline. I aint mad at this one bit. It's smooth and deserves a good story.
Oh shit... I forgot there were 2 tracks Jay B. The 2nd came on and I didnt know where that was coming from!
Trouble Child - It's okay. I'm not really feeling this one that much. I listened 3 times to figure out what I dont like and I still cant really put a finger on it. The chopped repeated scream kinda fux me up. I like the piano chops during the verse part, but when the voice comes back in on the 2nd set of 4, it throws me off. I guess it's just a sequencing thing for me. If rearranged, I would like it more.
Hood- undisputed def a crazy joint.
pray was a slap. (slap: somethin you slaped together)
Jay B- I aint heard a soul sample in a while, No limit is a good track, I liked your chopping.
Trouble child,,,,,,, nahhhh I didn't really like it.
here is tha track I subbed, I also sent in the same beat from the Kiss opp, I made a post entitled I sent the wrong beat, this was the Opp I was refering to. I didn't mean to send in the same beat I sent in for the Kiss opp.

Actually it was the acapella to an old American Gangster remix from 07.

I fux with this! It's a little reverby, I wish the drums were more in front, but that's a personal preference thing I guess. I dig the simplicity during the verse part, but think something else could randomly come in to compliment the guitar.
Shit's pretty good though. I see you Ceasi!
Here are my post for the XO Sub. Used a couple beats I had already. Did not do the West coast feel hoping to go for a diff feel. Hit me back with feedback!

No Limit - i like this. i will always love a good soul sample. Think a little more guitar lics (live lics would be dope...when the last time you heard dope) in the verse would be tight. The drum roll could be a little tighter but overall I like this.
Trouble Child - Like the simplicity to this track...not to much going on to draw away from the story to be told on it.....def a good story would sit on here real nice.
Long list for me. I ain't gonna say too much. I'll try to keep it all short n sweet... aiight...!
Leck One:
Undisputed, straight crack! Prayinstr wasn't really hittin' for me tho. Night n day difference wit the beats. I like the idea, but I don't think its for this situation.
Jay B:
No Limit, straight crack! Trouble Child wasn't really hittin' for me either. Same night n day difference. Not hatin' on it, but again... not for this situation.
C Easi:
Stop Playin' is tuff business! He would definately have to get his scrap on wit some H-Town or Memphis or GA heads!
Curtdog:
I couldn't hear the beats. Check the files. U may have to send them again, or I may have to wait till tomorrow to hear them... cause they not playin' for me! I don't kno why yours isn't, but everyone else's is.
Nonseq:
Who Do I Sell To is retarded! Only thing I would do is use some heavier drums n a thick clap (u kno how Cali do it). Also, cause of the claps... try a different drum pattern. But, I do like this track. Yukie is tight as hell. I could see some international slayin' goin' down to that one!
7th Angel:
My Story, straight crack! Psycho Alpha Ozone... not a go!
Gangus Khan:
GKP12 has a dope vibe to it. I think it would make for a great joint to knock in strippies! Get Xibit n Kurupt on it n talk about them poll freaks! GKP38 isn't really doin' anything for me tho in comparison.
Ok, hope all understood wha I was sayin'! Now... u have the distinct pleasure of bangin' or breakin' my track - lol! I sent in Somn Yard (check the Asylum post) n this one.

This is tight....I could see this rocked as a feel good Cali track or R&B joint.....you a musical dude man! I may have to start studying under you....lol.
I couldn't get the tracks to play when i posted but was able to download it and play it. I thought it may just be fileblaze. Will check on it later. I really need the feedback. Kno I have things to work on.....
beatfellaz that shit is dope, real rider music, cali ridin music. one thing i really like about this beat is that i can listen to it from front to end. i never got sick of it, usually when you listen to other peoples beats you hear like the first minute and then you are like alright its cool, but i could listen to that beat no lyrics to the end which is rare for me. nice work
My XO Beats are not playing in fileblaze but do play when downloaded. For some reason some of my beats work and some don't in fileblaze.

Here is my latest XO submissions. I am having problems with Fileblaze .mp3 playback of Reason waves converted to .MP3 using Cool Edit to convert. The second file that is a ProTools .wma converted to .MP3 plays OK in Fileblaze. They both play OK when downloaded. Check'em out and holla back.

This is what I've submitted : http://fileblaze.net/External.html?k...d6c3eb2fac8978
I'll check some of y'all beats during lunch time
Terminill XO1 - This tight work. Love the intro and the hook...was going to say wanted more dynamics in the verse part until I noticed it was coming when the song faded out...lol.
Terminill X02 - This is straight. Love the sample. The bassline I think kind of dull though.
Terminill X03 - This had the head nodding. A really tight story or sentimental rhyme or some contemplative stuff would kill this. This gets the ugly mug....tight work!
Couldn't get them to play in Fileblaze so had to download them. I have the same problem with some stuff.
DaRStar - XO1: I like this. Tight sample and use of it. Wish that the guitar lick/riff in the background of the verse part was a little louder.
DaRStar - XO2: I like this. You are tight on the sample work. Tight story track for me or something on a serious tip. Tight work.
Hoodmade:
-"undisputed", nice soulful vibe i like it, i like the chops. Nice track!
-"prayinstr", i don't know if i'm impatient, but 20 sec was a lil long for the intro lol. the track is cool, but I like the other one better, it had more to it
jay b:
-"no limit", the track is nice, the sample is nice, but the sample was a lil too loud compared to the drum, especially the kick, but that's just my opinion. Nice chops
-"trouble child", wow the intro almost made me want to not listen to the song at all lol, i was not feeling that "heatmakes"-esque part, it was kinda annoying
ceasi:
-the mix is just killing it for me, because the idea, melody, arrangement is nice, but I just don't like the filtering on the main synth, and the panning either
nonseq:
-whodoisel : I like the rza kill bill vibe. I just felt the part with the vocals were too repetitive, but the rest was cool
-yukie : I'm not really feeling that one, pretty much because i was not to much into the sample.
curtdog :
-Two Hard Mugs: the track is not bad, but I think that if the kick hit harder and it had a baseline it would be better, I liked the snare roll, it was cool, i would see ghost face on that
-what a man : i don't know, it sounded too much like some heatmaker stuff, not that it's a bad thing to sound like someone else, but it's just that it doesn't sound like a next-level heatmaker, but just a generic.
Yeah, i had to download yours too, i don,t know what's going on with that system!
I see that people really put their sample game on for this opt! I'll check some more later today
Thanks DaRStar. Those tracks were from my original submission. I submitted 2 more this time. After listening to the 2 new ones, I can see where my mix is a little jacked. If you check it out, you will see what I mean. BUT I def love the feedback. I know my mixing and sampling need a little work.
I find tracks that I 2 track into ProTools to create a .wma and then convert to .MP3 play fine in Fileblaze, but if I try to take a Reason bounced .wav track and convert it over to .mp3, it will not play in Fileblaze.
thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated....with the trouble child song i was trying something a lil diff kinda a bullshit track i thought it was tight when i made it tho...listening to it now i see what u guys are saying.
