Thread: Click on my DP profile and take a listen!!!!!!

What's good my brothas and sistas of DP...I haven't spoken ta y'all about my music for a minute. Well I been learning more and more of the art and the technical side of the software I use. Music Production has been a part of my life since Nov. 2006 and djing forever and I never wanna quit making music. I would like some feedback from some of the memebers here. I know y'all be busy cuz we all do, but I wanna know if I progressed from a couple years ago. I'm talking about skill wise, mixing wise and overall sound. Let me know homeboys and homegurls.

Whaddup mane. Before I get started... u should post things like this in the Listen To My Track... Feedback section... you'll get more attention there as oppose to here in General.
Aiight, on listenin' to the trax... if I had heard your material from before to compare to now I would be able to tell your progression. But, to me, the sounds seem on point n everything sounds cool.
Now... the Ride It Out joint sounds dope. Only suggestion would be to work on the bass line.
Water sounds dope as well. But, try usin' different sounds than straight synths on everything. They sound great, don't get me wrong. But, against the main synth, every other synth in there takes away from its shine. Try pickin' a synth that's a lil' more drier or somn' n then try addin' effects to it like delay or somn'. This way, it sticks out in its own unique way n doesn't fight wit anything else goin' on in the track. I like the vibe of it tho, so you're definately on point wit that.
The other trax I would say just keep at it. It seems like you're almost to the point where everything will mesh musically. I like the drums n sounds. So, just keep up wit listenin' to other production n seein' how things mesh musically, n then take it from there. Don't be afraid to xperiment!

U know what? I forgot all about the Listen To My Track section of DP. But I'm gonna take heed to the feedback u gave me and thanks for the report fam!!!!!!!!!!!
