<p>Anyway, Drape you got some GREAT beats!!!! I'm feeling all off the them from the symphony to the BW beats. You got talent partner. I wouldn't be surprised if you got the placement fam.</p>

<p>thanks a lot for the feedback , fam. much appreciated. ok jaay's a little better at narrowing shit down (if he feels the beats) lolz. he goes OD SIMON STATUS ON MY BEATS LMFAOO. so i wanna see what he says bout these. i think it wont be difficult for him to narrow shit down and tell me how to fix up a bad mix.. i know he's gonna say that about the second track for BW cause that was a beat from WAAAAY BACK when all i knew how to do is chop, play keys, and sequence drums.. dont forget panning and raisng/lowering gain!! i was able to do that also!! lmfaooo. na i know jaay will see the difference in my kick/bass comp. and eq compared to back then..yo i havent submitted yet, cause i wanna hear some feedback and advice first, get at me!!</p>

I wasn't ask my opinion but I listened to that Blackwallstreet submission... creatively and instrument wise, it' squite good... but I would have mixed it differently... the snap is a bit thin.. i noticed that people often want snap/clap/snare which kinda cut the track...
Your shaker are not heard enough (if that's if you put any, I feel like there are some)
Also i had difficulty to focus, did you use some stereo processor on the sample to make it wider ? or used the haas effect somehow...maybe it's just me, but i think it's a lil tad bit too wide... but might just be me...

Im listenin to the first track of the first link...creatively i find it quite nice !!!
Only thing is that it might be lacking some low end imho...

<p>well, i did that snare stack wide and thin on purpose i was kinda diggin that sound feel me?? and no i didnt use a shaker, but if your talking about the open hi hat that went along with the kick, then i didnt want that to be so loud, but if not, then its probably part of the sample. and yes i did widen the sample, because i didnt want to cut it's low end, because i needed it there, but also needed room for the bassline, so i widened the sample so the bass can fit in the middle without suffocating the sample. thanks for giving me feedback, though when i asked for a few specific ppl's opinion i dint mean i dont want feedback from anyone else. i guess i should hav stated that. so anyone else reading this who's name wasnt mentioned, feel free to give feedback if you want, it will be equally appreciated. 1</p>

<p>I lived on EA sports video games during the first 20 of 24 years so that's the one i'm most familiar with.&nbsp; The EA Sports and Fox Sports opp are gonna take the same type of beats though....activision has more game variety.</p>
<p>Crown King - This one would definitely would work better for the EA/Fox Sports opps.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Die for you - Could work for any of the 3 video game opps.&nbsp; I really fucks with "Die for You"..........shits dope.......the ONLY thing is the timbaland "promiscuous girl drums" are SO recognizable (especially with the sequencing being the same).&nbsp;&nbsp; I like the beat tho.......but I think you would have to clear those drums because i know i've seen Kanye clear the Mountain Red Drums on a record, or the Billy Squier Big Beat drums on "We Major"..........The reason why i bring it up is because you can't sample on video games to my knowledge and I think those drums would require Timbo to murk your publishing, lol.&nbsp; Very dope nonetheless tho.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Ghetto Symphony -Dope......well put together.&nbsp; Could fit any of the 3 opps.&nbsp; Definitely could hear it for the Fox/EA opp, but the orchestration could fit the Activision sound too.</p>
<p>Hold the Throne - could fit a video game........has enough energy for it.....(i would like more of a change somewhere in there, but that may not be needed for this opp)....not as good as the first 2 records tho.</p>
<p>Kiss of Death - The low end could be stronger on the record (whether that means adding a bassline and a punchier kick or just eqing the 808 that's there.....the lack of low end makes the record come across kind of thin even though you have a lot going on in the record.&nbsp; Probably activision at the end of the day tho.</p>
<p>Motorcycle - Could fit all 3 video game opps to be honest.....energy is perfect for video games.&nbsp; Fits all 3.&nbsp; Good job.&nbsp; EA/Fox if I had to choose tho.</p>
<p>So on Top - with the shameless promotion of gang violence your promoting with the gunshots and the pastor troy angry horns i'm gonna say this one would fit Activision the most since it has action games.</p>
<p>The Greatest - Activision.....i builds to the beat in a way that I think fits Activision better</p>
<p>Where I'm From - Doesn't start fast enough for a video game opp.....unless a rapper's on this one, it would probably have to start faster for a video game.&nbsp; By the time the long intro got over...i would have already setup my game options or picked me team, and been already at the load screen, lol.&nbsp; I would go activision is I HAD to choose 1 of the 3 though.</p>

<p>All in all, the beats were pretty good.......and i've helped you none because outside of activision you still have to figure out where you wanna send records to.&nbsp; The problem is the EA/Fox Sports Opps are gonna take the same type of beats.&nbsp; Not a big deal tho....anything that fits in the EA/Fox lane you can just send some to one, and some to the other and knowing mayday, he very well may take beats you submit to one opp and send them to another if he feels it fits better.</p>

<p>Game 1 - Probably not the move.&nbsp; Needs some more in order compete with the name producers that are submittin to Game.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Game 2 - This one needs add a stronger kick and a little bigger instrumentation for the game opp in my humble opinion.</p>
<p>Keep in mind your competing with Tim, Just Blaze, Cool and Dre, Justice League, Khalil, Nottz and all those cats that Game is getting beats from not to mention all the other dope cats out there.&nbsp; I actually think the Ghetto Symphony record would have fit this opp MUCH better.&nbsp; When I submit to opps, i like to emulate the rappers flow and sound in my head and if i can't do that on the beat....its a no go for me.&nbsp; I can do that with the "Ghetto Symphony" beat for game.</p>

<p>Here's wha I gather... I think Jaay pretty much hit them all on target wit his picks.&nbsp; The only thing I would suggest is goin' back n listenin' to them all again.&nbsp; A few of them were hard, especially Crowned King &amp; Die For You.&nbsp; The bass line on Ghetto Symphony needs to be fixed.&nbsp; I kno melodies come left n right, but to me it just needs to be fixed so it has a better mesh wit wha the rest of the track is sayin'.&nbsp; I think u could shorten up the intros, so instead of 16s u could do 8s (not to all of them tho,&nbsp;just listen out for the ones that wouldn't necessarilly need it as oppose to the more dramatized ones... they can rock).&nbsp; The Timbo drums were madd obvious, so I would consider swappin' them out wit some other drums.&nbsp; Keep the groove, but switch up the sounds if possible.&nbsp; I did like wha I heard tho, so u definately get props.</p>
<p>As for the Black Wallstreet joints, I didn't like the drum mesh on track 2.&nbsp; The feel was there however... so I would work on gettin' a better mix on those drums.&nbsp; As for track 1, I like the sound of it (whether u used a sample or sampled yourself), but the drums didn't give me that Cali vibe, n I think u could take it there wit that chop.&nbsp; Get West on it, not Kanye!&nbsp; I kno the south drums n the repeats n alllat are what's happenin' right now, but don't take it there wit wha u have.&nbsp; Go study Battle Cat, Jelly Roll n all the rest of them dudes.&nbsp; Dj. Quik's new joint wit Kurupt, Do You Know, is so tuff to me right now... its not even funny!&nbsp; That's how u use south drums on Cali trax.&nbsp; They LOVE BASS... so bang an 808 out against some hard hittin' drums that would make Bloods n Crips wanna WALK!&nbsp; If u do this, I definately think that will get used by Black Wallstreet!</p>

<p>Die For You - Rider.....Timbo influenced on the drums....but I can ride wit' it.....</p>
<p>Ghetto Symphony - I think this is tight but think I hear some "key" conflict on some of the bass notes or maybe I am expecting a different note than what I am hearing....with that resolved...I think this is tight.</p>
<p>Hold Throne - Seems weak after listening to the previous 3....will probably work on the game tip though...still not certain how game tracks should be mixed....haven't played them in a minute...</p>
<p>Kiss Of Death -&nbsp; Def work as a video game track but think the kicks need a little mo' "punch"....I fell back into my old Zelda mission days for a minute listening to this except the drums didn't have this much get up back then...lol</p>
<p>Motorcycle - I think this is str8. still not as moving as the first 3 but still good work...would work for video def.</p>
<p>So On Top - intro seemed too long....but I like where it goes afterwards....intro could be shortened to me...</p>

<p>lolz curt, i think you should come back to 09 now haha.. before you start making rundmc beats lolz. so about hold the throne, that was a throwback man, and my first beat with reason, na second. kiss of death was made with fruity loops, and i didnt know how to use a sompressor back then either so there's your excuse for the kick lmfaooo. and THANK YOU SOO MUCH for the comment on where i'm from, because honestly, i had to drink half a liter of that cheap russian vodka before i had the balls to make a beat like that lolz. i loved it then, and now, but like you said it was really different, but it makes me smile OD, so i love it, and i had it on my myspace, and no1 felt it, so i think i took it off, or it's like the last beat lolz, but i said fuck it i can take the critisism on DP (even jaay peso's lolz) so i just posted it up and i ended up sending it to the mngr &amp; a&amp;r sub, (if i remembered right) not that its my best shit, but i think mayday will sort shit out if he feels they belong somewhere else.</p>

<p>track 1- PIFF. or like they say in LA, ANGEL DUST lolz.. crack beat, man i could hear game on this. i actually imagined him goin "im the doctors, advocate" along wit the beat lolz. and then i sang westside story along with it, his first verse would fit the beat to me haha. but he kinda switched up his style lately.</p>

<p>track 2's music was pretty original and had the westcoast elements to me, but i didnt like the kick OR the bassline.. i think you should have used a completely different kick with that, like a standard DRE kick. big, hard, stacked (no homo- in my best Cam'ron impersonation lmao).&nbsp;it would make the melody and beat overall a lot more energetic to me. loved that cowbell tho. or metalic snare however you would name it.</p>

<p>activision to me is a good foundation, but i feel it has a lot of space for more instruments and melodies, and if that stab is a sample, your fucked cause they said no samples but i think you know how to read just seemed like a one-shot chop to me, but deffinetly not enough IMO. you should have added a couple more tracks to go a long with that stab drums and tempo were good to me, and the mix was iight, subby bass isnt too necessary for video games</p>

<p>ea 1 is ok, better than activision's, but i think activision track has a lot of potential if you were to work on it for an hour or so. i dont know why, but the low synth u had reminded me of "Move Bitch" by luda and mystical when i heard one of the patterns lolz. i think this would fit a sports game, though like fight night or madden or nba live. but again missing a little. cant say what, just got some empty spaces musicwise.</p>
<p>ea 2 is the ill techno club beat if the kick and bass were harder lolz, not my style at all, and i hate music like that, but im judging right now so i gotta be fair and not base my feedback on my taste in the genre. to me it would be good for either a racing game (specially nfs type) or a game like Unreal Tournament 3 (dont know if you've played it, but its a fast paced killing game online) i've played a couple times before and its too addicting once u get into it, so i stopped playing cause i wouldnt have time to make beats. didnt like the way it ended, seemed cut off to me.</p>
<p>FOX- imam str8 up with you.. wtf were you thinking when you sent this to FOX SPORTS. i would have this in activision if i HAD to pick the 3, but if not, i would save it for a different video game opp, because i could DEFFIENTLY hear this while i play SuperMario type games. or something in the jungle no examples come to my head right now, but its not too hard to figure out a good theme for this when you hear it. i would never put in fox sports or EA, though.. maybe just my opinion, have jaay and dnr check this out see what they'll say about this one. i liked it the most overall out of the rest, but not for these subs, keep this shit for another sub i think it has great potential</p>
<p>overall, i think you got much better chances with BW subs, but your beats for these subs could be a lot better if you put some work into them. im listening to the last track for the 5th time in a rowrgiht now, and it makes me maad happy and wanting to play a E rated game. but i saw your previous posts in other threads as well and i could tell you didnt put in as much work as you could have into these beats, even before i heard them, but in my opinion you should have. the first one would be a lot better ifyou put some effort into it, but it was also on really short notice, so i understand. great job on that last track tho, its deffiently goin somewhere, just not on this opp</p>
