Blue grass and hip hop sounds interesting!.....im trying to mix electrooo/ alternative rock with slow rnb.....gettn some wierd spaced out tracks!

old music is very important for a full time producer to understand.. its where it all started, go back in time as much as u can, and study everything how it changed classical music's elements are so interesting once you study it enough, the ones who say old music is "boring" or straight up "old" cant expand their style of music as much as the people who listen to all that. whether you asmple or not, respecting the roots can bring you golden knowledge, and make you a better producer and person in general.

jim bond knows a lot about old school music.. im part of his sample of the month club and the beabetterproducer blog, and its amazing to hear what he's posted there. i've sampled a shit load of jim bond's recomended tracks and everyone should check that out

I actually chopped up a Nora Jones track which is somewhat bluegrass/jazzy...tried to do a couple tracks with the chops a while back on the Triton....they def need some work.....

i recently chopped these two tracks by Nelson Ned, Jim Bond's recomended BEST ARTIST TO SAMPLE EVER.. and i gotta agree with what he said, man.. came out hard..
