Thread: Serious question....

<p><span style="FONT-SIZE: 7.5pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">Would it be a good advice to get a business loan if you&rsquo;re a musician that&rsquo;s not working and have no income? Let&rsquo;s face it; noting is free in the music industry.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>Think about that for a sec.&nbsp; U have no means of income, so why would u take out a business loan?&nbsp; If u don't have a GUARANTEED 90-100% plan on makin' money off that business loan, don't do it!&nbsp; You'll just end up in debt, where u don't wanna be!&nbsp; The best thing for u to do is work.&nbsp; It sux, but its wha brings in the money.&nbsp; My partner has a regular job.&nbsp; I engineer as much as I can to keep funds comin' in.&nbsp; The roles use to be reversed.&nbsp; But, I've realized someone has to stay in the music field to find out what's goin' on n where moves can be made.&nbsp; Workin' takes time away from your creativity n so on.&nbsp; But, if u need the money like that, then u gotta do what's necessary!&nbsp; Takin' out a loan to start a business is a serious step, n it must be takin' wit much consideration before anything can happen.&nbsp; God forbid u start a business n it ends up not takin' off, then you'll end up at rock bottom cause u didn't think it thru clearly (besides, banks won't even give loans like that unless they see somethin' that's definately gonna work for them to collect off of their investment a.k.a. the loan they gave u)!&nbsp; Just stack ya bread!</p>

<p>yo if you cant find a job, imma tell u str8 up, hustle somehow. im not tryinna encourage crime or nothin like that, but like you said, nothing is free. so do what you can, but im not down wit that buisness loan.. get a job, or bust a gun dont put yourself in debt, but jail isnt any better, so make a wise choice cause the wrong one might cost you more than you think.&nbsp; thats the whole reason i left ny and didnt come back for 2 years and still havent been back, i ran away from the law.. im not gonna get into that story at all past what i just said, but do what beatfellaz said.. get a job.</p>

<p>Check it dude...no loan playa...keep beating that pavement to find a job...hit unemployment....ask about the O'bama program for college/vocational training to get people back working at your local unemployment...they have it here....I am hoping you have been to the unemployment office already...there are other hustles, if u listen to Murs that don't require jail time but requires droppin' pride to eat...I have hit the temp agencies and had some success, but I have been blessed to have a career and a job I have been in since I graduated college...BUT your "position" is there, you just have to stay faithful looking for it...</p>

<p>yo goin to college is a great option as well.. if you do that, and work at the same time, then you can find a better job when u graduate..</p>
