Lessons In Jazz (LIJ) Featured Interview:  Easy Mo Bee
In our first featured interview, Lessons In Jazz (LIJ) chats with legendary Hip Hop producer Easy Mo Bee. Besides having crafted songs for the late Notorious B. I. G. , Big Daddy Kane, Alicia Keys, GZA, and many more, Easy Mo Bee is one of the first Hip Hop producers to work with an established jazz artist.  He was hand picked by Miles Davis when Miles decided to incorporate elements of hip hop into would be the iconic trumpet player's last studio album-- "Doo Bop."   Mo Bee was chosen to complete the "Doo Bop" album after Miles passed in 1991. The ground breaking album was released in 1992, and received a Grammy the following year for "Best R&B Instrumental Performance."  This would be the start of a long standing relationship between jazz and hip hop artist.  Here's another piece of the present and pinch of the past:   (Audio Interview Coming Soon)
