Where We Came From
In the very late 90's, Felisha Booker was enrolled in college, working 2-3 jobs, and was interning at a Cleveland based record label, Unem Entertainment Group. At Unem, Felisha wore many hats, starting first with Songwriter, which then led to A&R, which then led to Manager. Felisha took a liking to one MC in particular and decided she would do what she could to assist this gifted MC break into the music industry. In a casual conversation one day, the MC shared his underlying desire to start producing his own music. Felisha then went on to do mounds and mounds of research on the resources that would be available to up & coming music producers. Her search left her dumb founded yet enlightened at the lack of educational information and platforms for aspiring music producers. It was this moment that Felisha decided she would do something about it...for all the producers who were grindin in their bedrooms but had huge dreams of making it in the major music and entertainment industries.
How We Began And Our Slogan
For the first time ever in history, in 2002 we held The Ear To Da Streets 1st Annual Producers Conference in New York City. The event was a huge success and in the months following, producers from all over were anxious for more. We went on to hold several seminars, but in 200 we realized that it would take more than an annual event to help up & coming music producers get to the next level. We changed our name from Ear To Da Streets to Dynamic Producer and restructured the organization to be a membership based organization to support aspiring and up & coming music producers.
Our mission is to foster music producers through continuing education, career orientation, job opportunities, and community involvement. Our founding slogan is: "Connecting Da Streets to the Suites, One Track at a Time."
Our Evolution
The birth of Dynamic Producer in 2002 was an evolution within itself. Our role in this industry is to not only champion the plight of up & coming music producers, but to execute original ideas and initiatives as well. The organization has always and will continue to evolve to support the needs of its members, first. Watch us as we continue to grow by leaps and bounds in ways you may or may not even imagine....all for the sake of THE MUSIC and THE MUSIC CREATORS.

MEET DYNAMIC SONGWRITER
As Dynamic Producer evolved and began teaching the importance of music producers having full songs to showcase their abilities, the idea for Dynamic Songwriter was born. In 2008, Dynamic Songwriter officially launched with hopes of songwriters in the same capacity that DP does for music producers. Although Dynamic Songwriter is fairly new, success has happened and documentation of that is in the works...stay tuned!
