With acclaimed early work with Eminem, igniting underground mainstays like The Jigmastas and Poly Rhythm Addicts and compiling releases like Funk Rock and Wonder Wrote It, Spinna could stay in the past. Still, the man who helped J-Live make a classic album and remixed Donald Byrd is quick to compare new-schoolers like Homeboy Sandman and others to some of the biggest stars of his generation.

I received lots of hot beats for the Michael tribute. Here are a couple of my favorites. Pt. 2 coming soon.
Delphi Productions took "Earth Song" in an unexpected direction.
Tha Teks sampled "Rock With You" for a dope hook. subtle yet killin em.

If you are like me, you are always looking to free up some space in you work area. My turntables have always been a major part of my production process, but as with all things in a home studio space is precious. Here is an Ikea hack to clean up your DJ rig while making you vinyl storage problems a thing of the past. This pic is not my personal setup but I will be building this soon.
